Certificate of Destruction
After we scrap your car, Scrap My Car will issue you with an official Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) Certificate of Destruction. This proves we have removed your scrap car's details from the DVLA's vehicle registration database.
Without a DVLA Certificate of Destruction, as the car owner you would be liable for road tax and could receive an £80 fine from the DVLA.
